This is my friend, husband, lover, companion, caregiver and driver. God has blessed me with the Best of the Best. We left home about 5:40am headed to the surgery center.
We arrived about 6:12am and went in about 6:20am.
This is the patient parking lot and entrance.
I must say they didn't make you wait very long at all before the paperwork process got started. it really wasn't that bad at all. At about 7:20 I was escorted back by Tracy and prepped for surgery. She was a very pleasant nurse that had been doing this for about 30 years and was very good. She only stuck me once for the IV and it was done! Yea!!! Thank you Tracy.
My doctor was Dr. James Saar, his nurse is Leigh Ann. I thought that was interesting that her name is the same and spelled the same as one of my daughter-in-love's. The surgical nurse was named ___________. I'll have to get back to you on that because I can't think of it right now. I only met her for just a moment when she introduced herself. I never saw her again.
They removed a fatty lipoma about the size of a tennis ball that had been slightly flattened.
My recovery nurse was Kathy. She was so kind, sweet and very attentive. There was also a lady named Ruth that got me a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice when I came out of surgery. I never wanted for anything through the whole deal.
This is the exit and where John picked me up.

They don't keep you long; by about 11:15am I was out the door. They didn't even offer a wheelchair, which was OK. I walked right out of there with only a sore throat (due to the tube they put down my throat, a woozy head and a big puffy patch of gauze on my back. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

This lovely lady was my recovery nurse. She had a very sweet spirit. I have to go back on Monday to have a drain tube removed but other than that, "ALL IS WELL".

Well, that's it. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayer.
