Lyrics: It's been one of those days If anything could go wrong it went wrong I know I'm feeling sorry for me There's a lot of self-pity going on Tomorrow I will be okay The dawn will bring a brand new day I'm sure by then I'll be fine Lord today I really need a friend I know that you would understand Would you hold me while I cry
I take a lot of your time When I should be strong I should be standing by now when it's you I'm leaning on You've always kept me safe from harm, like a child in your arms You've cradled me through hardships faced in life Lord it's just one of those days I've been fobbed in every way Will you hold me while I cry?
I try to be strong but if anyone can fall apart, I fall apart I run back to you again and you heal my broken heart You have truly been a friend, reaching out to lend a hand Lord when you could have passed me by I'm asking for your strength today Lift my spirit Lord I pray Will you just hold me while I cry
I take a lot of your time when I should be strong I should be standing by now when it's you I'm leaning on You've always kept me safe from harm like a child in your arms You've cradled me through hardships faced in life Lord it's just one of those days I've been fobbed in every way Will you hold me while I cry
You've always kept me safe from harm Like a child in your arms You've cradled me though hardships faced in life Lord it's just one of those days I've been fobbed in every way Would you hold me while I cry?
Ooooh, oooh, oooh.
************************************* I feel very sad today because of several things. Keep me in your prayers that I TRUST GOD in all things even the ones I don't understand.
We took a little day trip today to be with friends and family. As we were driving along HFR noticed someone in our rearview mirror and they were eating our dust. The road we turn on to go to our friends house is a very dusty road.
Come to find out this is who was behind us. The big kids!!! I believe they were having a ball.
After they greeted us, they left us in their dust.
I was trying to take another picture but they were to fast. All I got was the street sign.
1st granddaughter was playing with Bosco, the ferret. I hope I got his name correct.
2nd granddaughter was riding in the ATK (all terrain kart) with Dominick driving. I hope I got his name correct.
2nd granddaughter found a couple of pretty goose feathers.
1st granddaughter was really serious when it came her time to drive. I do believe that all had a great time.
It's fun to get to be with good friends! Thanks for the invitation G & D.
I will be glad to see him. He has been gone since Tuesday when he took 2nd "GRAND"daughter home. He stayed to help 1st and only Son-in-love put down a ceramic floor in their house. I will post pictures when I get them. He is such a good dad and husband. I am so blessed!!!
I decided to get up this morning and walk around our place. I am keeping my eye on that eastern sky. You never know when it might split wide open. It sure was beautiful this morning.
It was all freshly mowed. My little brother came out and mowed. Thank you Buster! Rarely do we have to mow our pasture as in HFR or me mowing it. Most of the time 1st son comes and mows it. I think he likes riding the tractor. It gives you lots of thinking time. I believe this is yet another blessing I have!!
I also noticed how lonely the tree swing looked. 2nd "GRAND"daughter just left and in a few weeks 1st "GRAND"daughter will be here then immediately after 1st "GRAND"son and 2nd "GRAND"son will be here. The swing won't be lonely for long.
Kaelyn was concerned that we were "cutting off" there hooves. We told that we were just getting their toenails trimmed. Miss Dolly realizes how much better it makes her feet feel. She stands very patiently and it gets done rather quickly.
Mark is a very good farrier. He is very gentle with the animals.
Sunshine is another matter. She still is not real sure about this.
Kaelyn helped me mow the yard then we went to lunch with Aunt Gendy, Uncle Rudy & Noah.
Noah didn't want to look at me for me to take his picture. I am know as that "mean woman". He doesn't quite know what to think of me but I do believe he loves me. He calls me Eo, that's short for MEO as the rest of the family calls me.
I got my picture even though it was under the table.
"I have known Christian fathers who by their severity and lack of tenderness have produced in their children, hatred to Christianity, instead of love to it.
May fathers and mothers set such an example of 'cheerful piety' that sons and daughters shall say--"Let us tread in our father's footsteps, for he was a happy and a holy man. Let us follow our mother's ways, for she was sweetness itself."
If piety does not rule in your home, you shall see disorder, disobedience, folly, unholiness, and vice in your children."
"A religion which will not stand the test of the fireside is not worth much!
If yours is a true, genuine, thorough conversion, I do not say that you are to go up and down the street crying out that you are converted.
But on due occasions you must not hide your convictions. Do not conceal what the Lord has done for you, but hold up your candle in your own house.
The power of a father's prayers with his arms about his boy's neck I know full well. The power of a mother's prayers with her children all kneeling around her is far greater than any public ministry will be.
God make you so to live that you show piety at home."
